Nach Angaben der Blockchain-Sicherheitsfirma PeckShield beliefen sich Krypto-Hacks und -Exploits im Juni auf insgesamt 75,9 Millionen US-Dollar bei 40 größeren Vorfällen, ein Rückgang um 7,1 % gegenüber 81,7 Millionen US-Dollar im Mai. Der Exploit von Humanity Protocol in Höhe von 31 Millionen US-Dollar führte die Verluste des Monats an, nachdem Gründer Terence Kwok den Vorfall auf einen kompromittierten privaten Schlüssel zurückführte. Syscoin Bridge verzeichnete den zweitgrößten Vorfall mit 10 Millionen US-Dollar, die durch einen Validierungsfehler gestohlen wurden.
