Laut Guru Club fielen die Brent-Rohöl-Futures für die August-Lieferung am 2. Juli um 1,89 % und schlossen bei 71,57 US-Dollar pro Barrel. WTI-Rohöl-Futures für August schlossen bei 68,58 US-Dollar pro Barrel, während Abu Dhabi Murban-Rohöl um 5,33 % auf 65,33 US-Dollar pro Barrel fiel. In verwandten Energiemärkten schloss NYMEX-Erdgas für August bei 3,22 US-Dollar pro Million BTU, Benzin-Futures für August schlossen bei 2,9452 US-Dollar pro Gallone und Heizöl-Futures für August schlossen bei 3,2179 US-Dollar pro Gallone.
