Gold opened lower near 4472 in the morning, pulled back slightly to 4536 before facing pressure and collapsing. Market sentiment collapsed across the board, with bottom-fishing funds rapidly withdrawing. During the European session, bears accelerated downward again, successively breaking through the four major round numbers of 4400, 4300, 4200, and 4100, with the lowest testing 4097. The daily decline exceeded 8.7%, almost giving back all gains from 2026, creating the largest single-day decline since March 1983. The bearish trend completely dominated the market.

From a technical perspective, the daily line closed with a massive bearish candle and the trend completely broke; the hourly Bollinger Bands expanded downward with price weakly running along the lower band, continuously under pressure below short-term moving averages.
