Bitget Expands Its Presence In Europe, Gets Registration In Poland
Amidst the growing popularity of Europe as a place of choice among crypto companies, crypto exchange Bitget has registered already in the second European country — Poland. This strategic move, according to a press release, allowed the company to expand its business in European Union in compliance with local and international legislation and regulatory standards.
As a registered VASP, Bitget is now authorized to operate legally within the Polish market, providing users with a more secure and transparent trading experience. This registration reinforces Bitget’s commitment to upholding the highest standards of compliance and regulatory oversight, which is essential in fostering trust among its user base and stakeholders which have grown by 146% since the beginning of the year.
The entry into the Polish virtual assets market follows Bitget’s earlier registration in Lithuania, where the company obtained the necessary approvals to offer crypto-related services in accordance with regional laws and regulations. This demonstrates Bitget’s proactive approach to adhering to regulatory frameworks and underscores its commitment to responsible and compliant operations.
Gracy Chen, the Managing Director of Bitget, emphasized the company’s recognition of regulation as the future of the cryptocurrency industry, particularly in achieving mainstream adoption. Chen stated, “At Bitget, we always embrace and follow the various regulatory frameworks set forth for digital assets and actively cooperate with governmental bodies to bring about a better ecosystem. The recent registrations in the two European countries enhance our foothold and service in Europe.”
As the cryptocurrency landscape continues to evolve, Bitget remains at the forefront of regulatory compliance, positioning itself as a responsible and innovative platform. The company has established a robust compliance team, which has grown by over 50% in the past 12 months. This dedicated team is responsible for navigating licensing processes worldwide and driving Bitget’s ongoing expansion efforts.
