$169 billion locked! The U.S. Bitcoin ETF now controls over 8% of the circulating supply

Latest on-chain data shows that the total holdings of the U.S. spot Bitcoin ETF have surpassed 1.66 million BTC, currently around 1.66M BTC.

Based on the current supply, this scale accounts for approximately 8.31% of the total Bitcoin supply, with on-chain holdings valued at about $169 billion.

This means that more and more Bitcoins are being continuously absorbed through institutional channels and entering long-term custody structures. As ETF funds keep flowing in, circulating market chips are gradually decreasing, and institutional influence on Bitcoin is also continuously strengthening.

In the capital markets, what truly changes the trend is often not sentiment, but changes in the capital structure. When long-term funds start to be locked in continuously, the game rules of the market will also change accordingly.

Prices may rise or fall, but the accumulation of value takes time.
In volatile markets, patience is often more important than judgment.
