6 days ago, North Korea stole $292M from DeFi.

Today, these are the people who pledged it back.
On April 18, Lazarus Group exploited a single-verifier bridge on KelpDAO and minted 116,500 unbacked rsETH out of thin air.
They dumped it as collateral on Aave, borrowed real ETH against it, and walked away with a quarter billion dollars.
Aave's TVL bled $10B in 48 hours and the biggest stress test DeFi has ever faced.
Then something happened that shouldn't be possible in a "trustless" industry.
Rival protocols started pledging ETH meaning real money to make strangers whole.
Stani Kulechov wired 5,000 ETH from his personal wallet and said "Aave is my life's work."
89% covered in six days.
