just found out my dog can actually have oranges and honestly it's a game changer for summer. apparently they're totally safe if you give them the right way—no peel, no seeds, and just like a slice or two. been giving my pup a few pieces on hot days and she seems to love it.

turns out oranges have all this good stuff like vitamin C and fiber that's actually decent for their digestion. plus they're like 90% water so it's basically a hydrating snack. my vet said as long as you don't overdo it, can my dog have oranges is a yes. the key is keeping it to like 1-3 slices max and making sure it's only 10% of their daily food intake.

the main thing is being careful about the peel and seeds—apparently there's some toxic stuff in there that messes with their stomach. also if your dog has diabetes you should skip it because of the sugar content. but for most dogs, can my dog have oranges is definitely something to try. way better than those processed treats imo. just check with your vet first if your dog has any health stuff going on.
