Hollywood actor Ashton Kutcher's fund has achieved a 43x return on investment in OpenAI.

On April 5, according to an X user’s disclosure by Zoomer, the fund Sound Ventures launched by Hollywood actor and venture capitalist Ashton Kutcher previously invested $30 million in OpenAI. Based on the latest valuation, the current value of the corresponding equity is $1.3 billion, achieving a 43x book return in less than 3 years. In May 2023, Kutcher’s fund’s investment portfolio already included OpenAI, Stability AI Ltd., and Anthropic.
In a previous report, on April 1 OpenAI announced it had completed a round of financing totaling $122 billion, with the company valued at $852 billion.
