With the Gate Little Golden Bull, we go check in at Zhangjiajie Baolong Elevator—an engineering wonder known as the "World's First Ladder." Take the elevator up, and in just a few dozen seconds, you go straight from the valley floor to the clouds. Outside the window, three thousand towering peaks rise from the ground, standing before your eyes as if carved by knife and axe—fully showcasing Zhangjiajie's astonishing ingenuity.
I place the Gate-branded Little Golden Bull at the entrance of the elevator. Its black-and-gold finish complements the vermilion inscription of “World's First Ladder.” The prominent G logo is steady and strong, as if it were an annotation on “breaking through heights and moving forward steadily.” The Little Golden Bull stands quietly, bearing witness to the perfect fusion of modern engineering and natural wonders—and also accompanies me, in the blink of an eye, to take in the sea of peaks and clouds.
From atop the cliff, looking down, the mountains stand like a forest, with clouds and mist swirling around—only then do I truly understand what it means when people say, “There are deities at the top of Zhangjiajie.” On this trip to the Baolong Elevator, there is both a breathtaking visual impact and the ease and delight of reaching the summit. With Gate’s companionship, every upward climb feels more grounded, with direction.
