Former UK Chancellor Kwasi Kwarteng told CoinDesk in an interview that Bitcoin can serve as an alternative to a “broken system,” and he said the UK is currently stuck in a fiscal “doom loop.”
Kwarteng now serves as Executive Chairman of Stack BTC, a British Bitcoin reserve company, which currently holds 31 BTC. Notably, Nigel Farage, the leader of Reform UK, has held about 6% of the company’s shares.
