The U.S. Senate Banking Committee is scheduled to review the nomination of Kevin Wash as Federal Reserve Chair on April 16.

According to Jin10, sources familiar with the matter told CNBC that the Senate Banking Committee will hold a hearing on April 16 to consider Kevin Wash's nomination for Fed Chair.
Another criminal investigation into the Federal Reserve is ongoing, examining whether current Chair Powell made false statements to Congress regarding the renovation of the Fed building.
The nomination process for Wash is advancing, which could conflict with two parallel initiatives pushed by the Trump administration.
Senator Thom Tillis of the Banking Committee stated that he would not vote to confirm Wash until the investigation concludes, meaning Trump cannot push both processes forward simultaneously. However, by continuing to push the hearings, Trump is still attempting to achieve this goal.
The Senate Banking Committee has not yet scheduled the hearing for public attendance.
