My impression of Gate.io is somewhat neutral: the minimum deposit is low, and the average fee is around 0.2% for takers and makers. It's very convenient that there is an affiliate program and a mobile app with various features. Over six months, I successfully tested spot trading on 12 different coins, with total profit slightly over 0.009 BTC. There are no questions about security; cold storage is indeed implemented. Overall, Gate.io is an ordinary exchange with a wide range of instruments.
