Shanghai Approves 10 Support Measures for the Gaming Industry and Esports, Including AI and Blockchain
The Shanghai authorities have announced a package of 10 measures to support the gaming industry and esports, including assistance to companies in implementing large language models of AI, blockchain, big data, and cloud technologies. The city also plans to promote blockchain for registration and protection of copyright, as well as for transactions and settlements, and to encourage partnerships between game studios and electronics manufacturers to develop games across different devices.
