Nevada Judge Jason Woodbury has decided to extend the temporary restraining order against prediction market platform Kalshi and approved the preliminary injunction issued by the state Gaming Control Board. The judge believes that the sports contracts offered by Kalshi are indistinguishable from illegal gambling. Previously, the judge issued a temporary restraining order on March 20 covering sports, entertainment, and election-related contracts. This extension of two weeks is to finalize the wording of the preliminary injunction. (CoinDesk)
