Pi KYC Validator Rewards and Community Value Summary
Pi official has announced the details of the first round of KYC manual validator rewards: each pioneer who successfully migrates to the mainnet will inject 1 Pi into the validator reward pool. In this round, a total of 16,568,774 pioneers migrated to the mainnet, corresponding to the pool’s existing amount of more than 1656万 Pi. To subsidize the early-stage validation training phase, the Foundation additionally contributed a 10 million Pi sponsorship, bringing the total reward pool to approximately 26.56 million Pi.
In this round, more than 1.09 million validators completed 5.2697亿 times of effective validations, and the final calculation shows that the reward per single validation is approximately 0.0504 Pi, which is 21 times the current basic mining rate. To receive the first-round reward, validators must complete at least 50 validations that achieve majority consensus by March 5, 2026. The rewards will be automatically transferred to the mainnet Pi wallets that have been included in the completed mainnet list and confirmed.
Additionally, each KYC application requires an average of about 20 rounds of manual validation. As AI participates more in KYC in the future, the number of manual validations will decrease, and theoretically the reward per single validation may increase. Later rounds may also add evaluation criteria such as accuracy and consistency.
From the data, more than 1650万 pioneers have already migrated to the mainnet via KYC, and more than one million validators have completed massive validation tasks, fully demonstrating the Pi community’s large-scale distributed workforce and collaboration capabilities. It not only completes the core KYC work, but also lays a practical foundation for Pi’s subsequent deployment in scenarios such as AI–human machine collaboration and blockchain-based human resource payments. Relevant broader ecosystem plans will be further explained in subsequent announcements. $PI
