Hanging out at my best friend's house for a meal when I overheard her neighbor arguing.

My best friend told me that her neighbor has a bizarre rule: the washing machine can't be used to wash clothes.
Because washing too much will damage the clothes and the washing machine as well.
So they have to wash by hand, even in winter, even though they only have one washing machine.
Sometimes the male neighbor secretly uses the washing machine when the female owner is not home, and when she's caught, it starts a huge fight...
