$SIREN Will the whales continue to dump or pull back next?
I personally think they will continue to dump; the main downtrend wave isn't over yet, and the pullback is just a trap to lure in buyers!
Reason: Retail investors' sentiment is completely opposite. After a sharp decline, retail investors are still bottom-fishing and buying in, giving the whales an opposing position to continue dumping. Every rebound is a setup to trap bullish retail investors.
Whale Playbook
Step 1: Induce a rebound in the 1.05-1.1 range
Whales will use small funds to push a rebound, creating the illusion that "it’s not falling anymore, time to bottom-fish," attracting retail investors to chase the rally. Meanwhile, they will continue to add short positions at high levels to complete their position setup.
Step 2: Violent dump targeting the 0.8-0.9 range
After the rebound reaches the target, they will directly break through the 24-hour low, creating panic from a breakdown, smashing all bottom-fishing longs, and eating all retail stop-loss orders, further increasing short-term profits.
Step 3: Sideways decline in the 0.7-0.8 range
After dumping to the low, they won't immediately pull back but will continue to decline slowly, wearing down retail investors’ patience, making bottom-fishers give up and cut losses, preparing for a subsequent rally to exit the position.
So! Never bottom-fish, don’t chase the knife, following the trend and shorting is the only correct choice. Any rebound is a shorting opportunity; a rally is just a trap to lure in longs, while dumping is the main trend. But whether long or short, keep positions small to avoid being liquidated by the whales
