I recently realized that the concept of offending Tai Sui is much more complicated than most people think. The information online usually only discusses the zodiac year, but in fact, there are many types of Tai Sui offenses, and many articles have incorrect calculation methods.

After careful research, I found that there are actually five situations of offending Tai Sui: encountering Tai Sui, clashing with Tai Sui, punishing Tai Sui, harming Tai Sui, and breaking Tai Sui. Among these, the first two have the greatest impact. Encountering Tai Sui refers to the zodiac year, which everyone knows can bring significant fluctuations in luck. But clashing with Tai Sui can sometimes have even more negative effects than encountering Tai Sui, which many people are unaware of.

Under the influence of offending Tai Sui, you should pay extra attention to your health, emotions, career, relationships, and wealth. During the years of encountering or clashing with Tai Sui, it’s advisable to be more cautious and not too aggressive. The effects of harming Tai Sui and breaking Tai Sui are relatively milder; the former mainly involves interference from petty people and disputes, while the latter often relates to relationship or financial damages. There is also a special case called punishing Tai Sui, which can easily lead to legal issues, so extra caution is needed with contracts and regulations.

Conversely, there are also auspicious Tai Sui combinations, divided into Six Harmonies (Liu He) and Three Harmonies (San He). The Six Harmonies are especially powerful. If your zodiac sign forms a Six Harmonies relationship with the Tai Sui of the year, your luck will be good that year.

Besides the Tai Sui system, the zodiac itself also corresponds to Yin-Yang and the Five Elements, which have mutual generation and restriction relationships. When combined, these form the framework of annual fortune. For example, in the Year of the Horse, those born in the Year of the Sheep have the best luck because of the Six Harmonies. Those born in the Year of the Tiger and the Year of the Dog also do well due to the Three Harmonies. Conversely, those born in the Year of the Horse may have a tougher time, as they encounter both encountering and punishing Tai Sui. People born in the Year of the Rat should also be cautious of clashes with Tai Sui.

To be honest, this system itself isn’t scientific; everyone should just see it as entertainment. My advice is: when luck is good, be a bit more daring; when offending Tai Sui, be cautious in transactions and pay attention to health. Don’t overanalyze or become overly anxious because of Tai Sui, and don’t go all-in on gambling just because luck seems good.

In summary, understand your annual fortune, know when to be steady and when to seize opportunities. I hope everyone can have a good year, whether in wealth or other aspects, and achieve what they desire.
