Why do knockoff coins keep falling?

For those still researching knockoff coins, 80% are probably holding a bunch of them, stuck with no way out, maybe even having uninstalled exchanges.
In the past, altcoins could be pumped up just with stories and "pie-in-the-sky" promises, but now, pure storytelling no longer works.
The market no longer buys into intangible concepts; it demands real technological applications, user data, and sustainable ecosystems to attract capital.

Moreover, the pattern of sector rotation has disappeared. Now, whether it's on-exchange or off-exchange funds, everyone is only eyeing Bitcoin, Ethereum, and other mainstream coins.

And the most fundamental reason is that many altcoin projects, once launched, are valued at tens or hundreds of billions, but their actual worth is far below the valuation. They crash immediately after launch, with project teams dumping their holdings as well.

The current altcoin market is paying the price for past false prosperity. With that said, do you still want to hold on to those altcoins you think have potential?
