March 26 Homepage Update:

Since Pi Day 2026, Pi Network has been steadily rolling out the second migration, opening the door for pioneers to bring more Pi onto the mainnet and further participate in the ecosystem. This means that pioneers who have already migrated once may now be eligible to migrate their second transferable Pi balance.

As outlined in the mainnet migration roadmap, the second migration will include referral mining rewards verified through KYC, thanks to team members who have fully completed KYC. Therefore, pioneers should remind their referral teams to complete KYC so that these rewards can be migrated.

Since its launch, over 119,000 pioneers have completed their second migration of transferable balances, including referral mining bonuses, as the gradual rollout continues.

During the implementation of the second migration, eligible pioneers will perform their first migration as usual. Note that the second migration will not affect the speed and throughput of the first migration. Additionally, the initial migrations completed on the network will still be prioritized. Pioneers who have not yet completed their first migration are unaffected by others’ second migrations.

The second migration requires significant technical preparation because calculating referral bonuses is complex. These rewards depend on the KYC status of team members, which varies for each individual during each mining session. Furthermore, this process impacts the distribution of mining rewards via blockchain transactions, requiring careful handling and rigorous review and testing to ensure accuracy and fairness. Successfully completing this effort is an important milestone, opening the long-awaited second migration barrier for the community.

The second migration also coincides with pioneers being able to use Pi in increasingly diverse ways. From the Pi Launchpad on the testnet to the mainnet release of new products and features like the Pi App Studio applications for Pi Day 2026, new products and functionalities are continuously expanding Pi’s practical utility and application scenarios.

Before qualifying for the first or second migration, pioneers must complete two-factor authentication (2FA) for their Pi wallets in step 3 of the mainnet checklist.

This step is crucial for further strengthening account and wallet security before migration, ensuring that the true Pi is transferred to their wallets. The true Pi is an irreversible and tamper-proof transaction on the blockchain. To complete the dual authentication, pioneers may need to add a trusted email address to their account if they haven't already.

Once the network successfully completes the first and second migrations for the current pioneer queue, Pi will begin ongoing periodic migrations, with frequency to be determined. $PI

Trash meme coins, even the veteran pioneers don't get 9 green, let alone migration. Stupid animals, the old Fourth couple, are the ones who are actually cutting the old pioneers.
