Zhang Xuefeng has said many things during his lectures that apply equally well in the crypto space.

Cut out the bullshit, and what remains is the wisdom of human nature and gaming.

On tracks and trends:
- Choosing a profession is choosing an industry, and choosing an industry is choosing the track of your future.
- You need to see whether an industry is going uphill or downhill. In a declining industry, no matter how hard you work, you're only delaying the fall.
- Don't challenge fields that have already formed monopolies or are sunset industries. Go to places where the rules aren't set in stone yet and there's still meat on the bone.
- Stop dreaming about defying fate. First look at what cards you're holding in your hand.

On industry reality:
In this world, the most valuable thing is information asymmetry, and the least valuable thing is passion.
All service industries ultimately boil down to one word: kissing up. If you can't humble yourself to adapt to the rules, don't enter the game.
This thing about avoiding pitfalls is impossible to disprove. You listened to me and avoided it—you don't know how badly you would have died if you hadn't.
Some industries look glamorous and polished on the surface, but they're actually gilded toilets with nothing but suffering inside.

On information asymmetry and cognition:
- What you think you're seeing is the truth, but it's actually just the appearance others want you to see.
- If the bottom-level logic is wrong, the harder you work, the more desperate you become.
- Often, your efforts are worthless in the face of trends.
- You must position yourself close to money. Don't go to places that are close to dreams but far from money.

On becoming a KOL:
Internet celebrities have only two possible endings: either they're no longer famous, or they're no longer alive.
If you don't have that backing, just pick something that lets you survive. Don't do those phony things.
Speaking the truth is often hard to listen to, but pleasant words often don't work.
