Grayscale submits application to the SEC for ETF approval on Bittensor (TAO)

According to information reported by ChainCatcher, the cryptocurrency asset management giant Grayscale Investments has filed a preliminary registration statement with the U.S. Securities and Exchange Commission. This move marks a significant step toward the possible launch of an exchange-traded fund dedicated to Bittensor (TAO), the platform's decentralized machine learning token.

The application to the SEC represents an important moment for the Bittensor ecosystem, as approval of an ETF would provide greater accessibility to the project for both institutional and retail investors. If the American regulator gives the green light, this ETF would allow market participants to gain exposure to TAO through traditional financial products, reducing the technical complexities of direct access to the tokens.
