Mars Finance reports that on February 28, two Israeli sources familiar with the operation told CNN that the Israeli attack on Saturday morning targeted high-ranking Iranian officials, including Supreme Leader Ayatollah Ali Khamenei, Armed Forces Chief of Staff Saeed Abdulrahim Mousavi, and President Ebrahim Raisi. According to Israeli sources, other targets included Ali Shamkhani, secretary of Iran’s newly established Defense Council, and Ali Larijani, secretary of Iran’s Supreme National Security Council. It is not yet clear whether any senior Iranian officials were injured in the attack.
