Avalanche Strengthens $2 Billion in Japan's On-Chain Flow One of the most significant developments strengthening Avalanche's position was Progmat's decision to migrate its assets to Avalanche. Progmat stands out as Japan's largest digital security token platform. More than $2 billion in tokenized Real World Assets (RWA), including real estate and corporate bonds, are being transferred from the Corda platform to Avalanche. According to a report published by Avalanche, Progmat currently holds approximately 63% of the issuance volume and 53.8% of the project share in the Japanese digital security market; the total issuance value exceeds 216.9 billion Japanese yen. The market is expected to reach 1.05 trillion Japanese yen (approximately $7 billion) by the end of 2026. Progmat's choice of Avalanche over other competing platforms represents a strong vote of confidence in Avalanche's technology. Avalanche enables financial institutions to create regulated and customizable blockchains while also offering the security advantages of the mainnet.
