Google Photos is now offering U.S. users a creative way to generate meme photos directly from their device cameras. The new AI-powered "Me Meme" feature, available on both Android and iOS, uses generative AI to convert your selfies into custom meme photos automatically. Here's how it works: select from official meme templates or upload your own reference image, pick a clear, well-lit frontal portrait from your gallery, and let the AI do the transformation. The resulting meme photos can be tweaked, stored, regenerated with different outputs, or instantly shared with friends. Currently in limited rollout across the United States, Google hasn't revealed full details about when all users will gain access or what other features might come next. This tool sits within Google Photos' Create suite, joining other AI-driven creative capabilities designed to make photo editing more accessible and fun.
