You think that's "love at first sight"? Or even some kind of "soul resonance"? Come on. In that 0.1 second when you see the other person, your brain is actually doing two extremely cold-blooded things: First, scanning genes: Is this person's body good? Is their reproductive value high? Second, estimating financial reports: Does this person have enough resources? Is their risk resistance strong? All the "no feeling" translates to "overall score not passing." All the "feeling for him/her" translates to "high cost-performance ratio." We always love to put a layer called "fate" over raw survival instincts. To be more brutal: It's not because you love each other that you get together. It's because all conditions match that you allow yourself to "love." Love has never been the premise of this transaction. It is a psychological placebo added after the deal is made.
