Announce the establishment of the Investment Department Pump Fund, simultaneously launching a $3 million total investment hackathon event.
Pump Fund, as a newly established investment entity under #PumpFun #, is dedicated to investing in projects on the platform and early-stage startup teams.
This hackathon will fund 12 projects, with each selected project receiving a $250,000 investment, corresponding to a $10 million valuation. Selected teams will also receive guidance and resource support from the founding team.
Participation requirements include: issuing project-representative tokens on the platform, publicly building the project, and holding at least 10% of the project token supply.
The selection process does not rely on traditional review or venture capital judgment but focuses on real market performance, evaluated through metrics such as token trading activity, community engagement, and ongoing development momentum. The event is open to both crypto and non-crypto projects.
The registration deadline is February 18th, and the first batch of selected projects is expected to be announced within 30 days.
