Everyone's pushing me to launch a newsletter these days. But honestly, I'm not sold on the idea.
Think about it—what's the actual point? My timeline's already flooded with crypto commentary, market takes, and project updates. Starting another voice in that noise feels like fighting an uphill battle. Time investment versus real returns? The math doesn't add up for most people trying it.
Maybe the appeal makes sense for established names with existing audiences. But for someone building from scratch? You're basically creating content in a void, hoping it gains traction. Meanwhile, you're sacrificing time that could go into trading, building, or literally anything else in the Web3 space.
I get why people recommend it. Personal brand building, thought leadership, direct audience connection—it checks the boxes. But the execution gap between theory and reality? That's what nobody talks about.
Time cost can't be accounted for, and that's the core issue. Instead of writing newsletters, it's better to focus on trading and development—this is what Web3 is really about.
Wait until you have an actual audience before considering it. Starting now just makes you a bagholder.
Newsletters are just a pyramid scheme tool, a pretext to scam newcomers into wasting their time.
There's too much noise; who can calmly read all this? Sell on the rebound, don't think you can accumulate followers through words.
The gap between theory and reality... 99% of people have fallen into this trap.
