#稳定币生态与应用 Seeing Haseeb's prediction for 2026, I am reminded of the 2017 cycle when almost everyone was shouting "Altcoins will replace Bitcoin." And what happened? BTC's market share actually strengthened during the bear market. The logic this time is somewhat similar—BTC surges to $150,000, but its market share declines, which essentially reflects wealth concentrating at the top, while other sectors are finding their own survival space.

What truly concerns me is the stablecoin sector. The supply has increased by 60%, and USD stablecoins still account for over 99%. USDT's dominant position has dropped from near monopoly to 55%—a significant change. I experienced the chaos of early stablecoin wars, when various private and algorithmic coins flooded the market, and only a few survived. Today’s landscape is clearer, but it also means competition is intensifying. USDC, USDE, and other players are gradually eroding market share, which indicates a shift in institutional confidence.

As for those prediction markets and AI applications, my feeling is—hot as they are, real-world implementation still takes time. It’s not surprising that 90% of prediction market products disappear; history always filters out the less viable.

The key is to distinguish which are cyclical fads and which are genuine infrastructure upgrades. The evolution of stablecoins belongs to the latter.
