XRP has recently experienced its first golden cross in 2026, which is a positive signal for many crypto enthusiasts. In simple terms, the short-term moving average (23-day) has crossed above the medium-term moving average (50-day), which is often seen as a precursor to a bullish market signal. When these two lines form this kind of relationship, it indicates that short-term buying momentum is accumulating, and the price could potentially move higher.

According to the latest data, XRP was stable above $2.06 on January 13th. This level is very critical for it — considered an important support level. After the golden cross, technical analysis estimates there is about a 13% upside potential, meaning the target could be in the range of $2.28 to $2.35. Interestingly, this price range is close to the 200-day moving average, which is a key resistance zone that market attention often focuses on. If XRP can successfully break through this zone, the probability of further short-term upward movement looks quite promising.

However, to be clear: although the golden cross sounds very bullish, there is a prerequisite — the price must hold above the support level. For XRP, this lifeline is roughly between $2.02 and $2.03. If it falls below this, the golden cross could become invalid, and the market might revert to a sideways or even downward trend.

Currently, XRP’s technical outlook is quite active, with both short-term and medium-term indicators pointing upward. From an investment perspective, it might be worth considering following this trend, but don’t forget to keep an eye on support and resistance levels to avoid getting caught in a trap. Ultimately, the golden cross provides a bullish opportunity, but whether you can seize it depends on whether the price can hold its bottom line.

The golden cross is back. This time, can we avoid getting chopped?

The golden cross sounds appealing, but the key is to hold above 2.02... It's really up to fate.

Golden cross sounds awesome, but I just want to know if we can really hold onto 2.02 this time. --- Golden cross again, moving averages again, didn't we say the same last time? And it still got smashed. --- The target of 2.28-2.35 feels a bit unrealistic. Is the 200-day moving average really that easy to break? --- The key still depends on the support level. If it breaks, it's all for nothing. Don't get caught, everyone. --- There is indeed some movement with XRP this time, but I still need to see it break the 200-day moving average before I believe it. --- 13% room? Sounds good, but I'm just worried the support level won't hold.

Golden cross sounds good, but I still need to see a break above 2.35 before I believe... --- It's another optimistic technical analysis, but a single piece of bad news can hit hard. I've seen XRP's routine many times. --- Just hold above 2.02, don't overthink it. --- 13% increase? Feels exaggerated. Better wait for confirmation before jumping in. --- Every time there's a golden cross, I get excited, then get hammered... Will this time be the same old routine? --- Moving averages can be misleading; I only watch the trading volume. --- There will definitely be sell-offs in the 2.28-2.35 range, be mentally prepared. --- If the support level at 2.02 breaks, I'll run immediately. I don't want to be washed out again. --- This wave does have potential, but the risk warning is very clear... Follow with small amounts. --- XRP only has this much increase in a year, what's there to get excited about? --- Wait until the 200-day moving average level to consider adding positions. For now, just observe.

Golden cross sounds good, but if 2.02 breaks, it's game over. This thing just depends on whether it can hold.

2.02 Whether it breaks or not is the real key. The golden cross sounds good, but without support, it's just floating clouds.

Golden cross sounds great, but we really need to see if 2.02 can hold. Once it breaks, it's over.

Golden cross? Here we go again. The last time you said that, the coin still dropped.
