Vitalik recently mentioned that 2026 will be a turning point for Ethereum. He plans to reduce the barrier to running nodes through technologies like ZK-EVM and BAL, making it easier for ordinary users to participate in the network.

At the same time, privacy and fund security are also prioritized. With the application of these new technologies, on-chain interactions will become more private and secure. Additionally, there are plans to improve the user interface experience on the chain and deeply integrate IPFS applications to make decentralized experiences smoother.

Overall, the goal for this year is to truly move Ethereum towards a more autonomous and trustless direction. This is not just a technical upgrade, but more importantly, to enable ordinary people to have control over their assets and data.

Still making empty promises? Let's talk about it again in 2026. For now, lower the Gas fees first and then boast. Wait, privacy + security being truly realized—that's something. Don't just make PPT promises again. Running a node as an ordinary person? Ha, I just want to see how much a graphics card costs... I'm a bit期待 about IPFS integration, but Vitalik's mouth... just listen and forget about it. If people can truly have control over their assets, that's more appealing than any black technology. I didn't quite understand how ZK-EVM plans to lower the barrier this time. Can any senior brother explain? Every time they talk about trustlessness, but in the end, you still have to trust some validators... Anyway, before 2026, just accumulate some coins and see if they will be realized or if the hype will continue.

2026 is so far away. Let's just lower the gas fees for now and talk about it later, since we're being exploited every day. Wait, the node threshold is lowered? What about the influence of big players? Isn't it still the final say of the players? ZK-EVM sounds awesome, but when will it actually be usable? Feels like PPT is still the priority. Privacy and security sound good, but I'm worried it's just a case of lofty ideals and harsh realities. So it's still just pie in the sky, I just want to see if it can really improve things. Anyway, using ETH is already quite troublesome. Normal people controlling their own data? Laughable. Now even wallets are being hacked, so what data security are we talking about? Integrating IPFS—what problem is that trying to solve? I really don't understand what practical use it has.

Honestly, I only believe these things will really come to fruition in 2026. There's too much hype now. Wait, what's BAL? Did I hear it wrong? I'm optimistic about ZK-EVM. Lowering the node entry barrier is definitely necessary. Ordinary people managing their own assets? Uh... let's make sure the wallet is secure first. Privacy and security at the same time—feels like they want to do everything. Can't they focus on one thing? Is IPFS really integrated this time? Why was there no news before?

Will 2026 really be achievable? After so many years of lowering the barriers... Wait, is ZK-EVM really reliable? I just want to know if this time they are serious or if it's another round of marketing. Can ordinary people participate? Ha, the prerequisite is to understand the wallet first. Privacy focus is nice, finally someone remembers it. Sounds good, but how exactly will it be done? What are the details? UI optimization is really needed; it's truly unfriendly to newcomers right now. The IPFS part always feels like loud thunder but little rain... If this time truly advances, ETH will be closer to top-tier applications. But trust needs to be built step by step; don’t let it slip again.
