What started as a revolution became just another power play. They promised decentralization, promised to break the system—then quietly rebuilt it in their own image. The rhetoric was pure, the vision was clear. But somewhere between idealism and implementation, it all flipped. Now they're the gatekeepers they once claimed to oppose. Same rules, new faces. That's not disruption; that's just musical chairs with better marketing.

At the end of the day, it's still a game of power; they just change the surface but not the substance.

I think this statement is a bit absolute... but it really hits home. Is the ultimate goal of decentralization to re-centralize? I can see why some people are taking losses in this wave. But on the other hand, are all new projects really following this pattern? Or are we just yet to find that true outlier...

Ha, it's the same old story. Decentralization has become re-centralization; I've heard it too many times.
