Launch platforms without proper safeguards expose a real problem in crypto markets. Nearly every token I've tracked at launch gets bundled—typically between 4-15%—by heavyweight wallet holders before retail even gets a fair shot.

It's become predictable. List a new project, and within hours the heavy hitters accumulate positions at favorable rates while the broader community watches from the sidelines. The platform's lack of anti-whale mechanisms means whale accumulation happens as standard operating procedure, not exception.

This isn't speculation. Watch the wallet movements and on-chain data around major token launches, and the pattern repeats. Those with capital and speed dominate allocation, leaving smaller participants fighting over scraps.

The opportunity? Platforms that actually implement guardrails—lockups, batch allocation methods, or anti-bundling mechanisms—could differentiate themselves significantly. Until then, expect this dynamic to persist.

NGL, that's why I've always said that new coin launches are just big players' harvesters... Do platforms with anti-whale mechanisms really improve the situation?

I've already said it, platforms without a lock-up mechanism are a joke. On-chain data is right there, 4-15% of the chips can be eaten up by big players in minutes, retail investors can't get a foothold at all.

It's the same old trick... The big players don't even consider retail investors, and the platform just acts like they can't see it.

It's the same old boring gameplay... the big players locked in early, retail investors can only watch, it's not interesting.

I've been tired of this for a long time—it's the same old story of whales eating the meat and small investors drinking the soup. The on-chain data is right there for everyone to see, but no one is managing it.

nah this is exactly what i've been saying for months. whale bundling at launch is basically feature, not bug at this point lmao

Whales harvesting the little guys, it's the old trick... Really, a platform should step up and take a stand.

Tsk, it's the same old trick. Every time a new coin launches, the big players lock in their chips within a few hours, while we retail investors are still watching the K-line.

That's why I gave up on those new projects with no barriers long ago. Whales accumulate tokens so quickly, it's like blinking, retail investors can't even get a sip.
