The social platform X announced a new initiative to support creators — in the next revenue sharing cycle, the best long-form article will receive a $1 million prize.

This time, the focus is on high-value, influential original content. The selection criteria are straightforward: it depends on the exposure on the verified user's homepage timeline. Entries must meet several conditions — they must be original, at least 1000 words long, and currently only US users are eligible to participate.

The platform also clearly draws the line: content that violates rules, promotes hate, fraud, or manipulation is disqualified. It seems X aims to encourage creators to produce higher-quality content while maintaining the health of the community ecosystem.

A million dollars just for an article? Isn't this tempting me to write a paper haha --- Another exclusive session for US users, let's just watch the fun --- Interesting, finally willing to spend money, let's see who can write it --- Starting from 1000 words, this threshold is indeed not low --- Good idea, but there might be cheating in execution, still the same old story --- Exposure volume determines victory or defeat? That logic is a bit far-fetched --- Chinese users are excluded again, used to it --- The red line is drawn quite clearly, just afraid someone will find a loophole --- I just want to know if anyone can really earn this money

1 million USD is poured in, and you expect us to obediently write long articles? Impressive. --- Oh, it's another US user exclusive. Our creators here should just accept their fate. --- Is exposure volume up to us? It still depends on the platform's mood. Same old story. --- Wait, starting from 1000 words? As a fragmented joke creator like me, I have no chance at all. --- The red line is drawn so clearly, indicating that the content ecosystem was indeed chaotic before. But actually, this might be a good thing. --- 1 million USD sounds like a lot, but I guess only a few top influencers can really earn that much. --- Is the spring for long-form content creators coming? Or is it just another capital show to cut the leeks?

A million dollars just to get me to write 1000 words? Looks like Elon Musk is still quite generous, huh? But on the other hand, limiting it to US users is really ruthless. Wait... exposure determines victory or defeat? Isn't it just about the number of followers, and not much related to content quality? It's another capital game; creators should be careful not to fall into it. By the way, I wish I were American; I missed out on this wave of benefits. It seems like X still wants to learn from TikTok's incentive model. Whether it can truly improve the content ecosystem remains to be seen. Starting with a 1000-word long article? Who has the patience to read that nowadays...

A million dollars just to get us to write a 1000-word article? Come on, this routine is the same as the previous creator fund. Only US users can participate, once again marginalizing creators from other regions. Honestly, it's still about exposure; it's a game of algorithms where the winners take all, and truly quality content ends up at a disadvantage. But on the other hand, at least X is trying to give creators real cash, which is better than some platforms. In my opinion, these rules seem fair on the surface but are actually full of hidden tricks. What exactly is the definition of a verified user? Wait, who decides the boundaries between violations and fraud? Probably another case of the platform's subjective judgment ruining everything. The era of long articles is coming—could it be a sign of increasing self-media competition? Hard to say. Anyway, I don't really believe that this 1 million dollars will reach truly talented people... Now, here we go again, another wave of trash content chasing trends flooding the timeline.
