Ethereum transfers are so expensive they bring tears, and waiting for confirmation feels like an eternity — this is a pain point for many on-chain users. The good news is that Plasma, a scalability solution claimed to break this deadlock, has recently received a major upgrade.
How impressive are the results? Just look at the data — network throughput has increased by over 200%, equivalent to widening a congested single lane into three lanes. Transactions waiting in line for confirmation can now be processed instantly.
From a technical perspective, Plasma is like setting up a "transit station" outside the Ethereum mainnet, batching transactions for processing and then syncing back to the chain. This significantly relieves the mainnet pressure, allowing the entire ecosystem to breathe easier. After this upgrade, the processing capacity of this mechanism is like riding a rocket.
What does this mean for ordinary users? Currently, playing DeFi or buying NFTs costs Gas fees of ten or twenty dollars, and transaction confirmation can take quite a while. Once this solution becomes widespread, costs can be significantly reduced, and transaction speeds will be noticeably improved. It’s no longer just a dream.

200% throughput? Sounds pretty intense, but I don't know when it will actually be usable...

Someone is finally serious. Is a 200% throughput really possible? I want to see how long this can last.

It's been a while, and there's finally some movement, but can this actually be implemented this time? The Rollup I heard about last time sounded too good to be true...

It's the Plasma Savior Theory again. How do I feel like I've seen this script played out N times?

Really? Is Plasma the savior again? The last time I heard someone bragging, it was the same story, and it's still just as expensive now.

It's been blowing for so long, finally there's some movement, but I still need to see how long I can hold on.
