Galaxy Digital's leader Michael Novogratz recently discussed the prospects of the CLARITY Act in an interview with CNBC. His perspective is quite interesting—while acknowledging that the bill is not perfect, he thinks it's not a big problem. Why? Because it can always be improved through amendments later on.

In his view, the crypto industry ultimately needs to reach some kind of compromise with regulators. This process might not satisfy everyone, including industry practitioners. However, Novogratz believes that having a relatively acceptable policy framework is always better than having none at all.

He emphasizes that the core message is: the bill must be pushed through. Only then can the industry have a clear regulatory path to continue moving forward. In other words, perfection is an ideal, but progress is a practical necessity. This pragmatic attitude reflects the industry's desire for policy progress—even if it means compromising to move forward.

Compromise is better than nothing, but the prerequisite is that this framework can truly protect retail investors... Otherwise, it's just a scam in disguise.

The art of compromise is selling dissatisfaction as progress Having a framework is better than doing things randomly, but don't forget what the amendments might change into Take it step by step, since it won't be fast anyway, open the door first and then see

Push it first and then talk. Anyway, the amendment can be changed... This logic sounds familiar, always saying the same thing every time.

Compromise is always better than nothing; this logic makes sense. But when the amendment actually comes out, we'll have to go through the hassle again...

Compromise can bring clarity to the framework; I buy that logic. Novogratz is right, having a framework is definitely better than doing things randomly.

Just accept the compromise, anyway it's more uncomfortable without a framework now...
