MetaMask controversy, in simple terms, is a direct confrontation between two different approaches.

One side is the traditional approach — I call it the 'platform arbitrage model.' Exchanges, wallets, and other intermediaries control your entry point, subtly setting up fee checkpoints everywhere, profiting from every user operation. This is quite common in the internet world, but how does it fit in Web3? It’s fundamentally incompatible. Web3 emphasizes decentralization and transparency, yet you still want to operate like Web2 behind the scenes? That’s bound to backfire.

The other side is the $Max's 'community co-creation model.' They don’t rely on taking a cut from your transactions to make money. How does the project increase its value? It’s through a snowball effect of community influence — the bigger the community, the more active the ecosystem, and the project team and token holders benefit as the value rises together. In essence, both parties are true partners, sharing the same goal: to grow the entire ecosystem’s cake. It’s not just about financial growth but also about the real social impact of the movement.

Looking at what $Max is doing in Pakistan makes this clear. Virtual assets are genuinely creating value and improving local communities. This isn’t just slogans; it’s real-world implementation.

Choosing $Max is essentially betting on a fairer, mutually beneficial economic system. That’s what crypto assets should look like.

Hmm... It sounds ideal, but can Pakistan really be stable? I still have some reservations.

The reasoning is rough but not wrong; MetaMask's approach indeed deserves criticism. But the question is, can $Max really succeed, or is it just another slogan king?

The arbitrage scheme is indeed no longer sustainable. Web3 is all about transparency, and MetaMask still wants to operate sneakily? No wonder it failed. The symbiosis model sounds like the truth, but what’s the situation in Pakistan now? Can it be sustained? This is exactly what I’ve been saying: the centralized model of profiting from spreads in Web3 is a joke, but the problem is most people are still getting cut deeply. Well said, it all depends on how many people will actually step away from MetaMask. Supporting in words still requires action. Symbiosis > arbitrage; this logic holds, but the premise is that the project can truly build the ecosystem.

Really, MetaMask's approach is just a rebranding, Web3 has been turned into Web2 by it...
