Not every trend needs to be monetized. SocialFi platforms are a perfect case study—just because you can slap tokenomics onto social interactions doesn't mean you should. The obsession with financializing everything strips away what makes communities authentic in the first place. Sometimes connection, engagement, and shared value matter more than extracting yield from every transaction. The best social experiences aren't always the most profitable ones. Maybe it's time to reconsider whether pushing financial incentives into every corner of Web3 actually builds better ecosystems or just creates another layer of speculation.

I think you're right. Things are a bit too focused on short-term gains now. Not everything needs to be tokenized.
---
Really, looking at those SocialFi projects, one more outrageous than the other, they’re just messing up the community for the sake of making money.
---
But the problem is, once there's money to be made, who cares about sincerity...
---
Yield farming is almost ruining Web3, and yet they keep pushing the social track.
---
Exactly, the best community experience often doesn't involve tokens at all.
---
On the other hand, without incentives, who will participate? It’s a vicious cycle.
---
Agreed, but investors probably don’t think that way.

Really, I've been tired of that socialfi wave for a long time. Everything requires tokenomics, but in the end, the community just dies.

Really, tokenomics everywhere has really killed the community; it's better to just have a good chat.

Exactly right, blindly tokenizing social interactions ends up killing the soul of the community.

Haha, being cut for so many years, I finally understand the truth... Turning crypto into social networking is just not creative at all.
