Four years ago, buying an NFT at a floor price of 10 ETH, even if it rebounds to 1 ETH now, is still a 90% loss. This is what we call mathematics. This kind of extreme leverage mindset is the fundamental reason why we can't make money.

Ironically, some people are still holding on tightly. Sometimes I feel this market shouldn't have any profit opportunities at all—because most people haven't prepared psychologically for losses. They fantasize about tenfold or hundredfold returns every day, and once the price drops, they start to give up. With this mindset, even the best opportunities are useless.

Oh no, it's the same psychological game again. To put it simply, greed kills. --- Holding on tightly when it drops from 10 to 1 is really just making things harder for yourself. --- Mindset is worth much more than technical analysis, but ironically, it's the hardest to develop. --- A rebound is pointless; if it can't come back at all, there's no need to wait. --- That's why I got out early. Being alive is more interesting than gambling. --- Dreaming of 100x gains for too long; waking up and crashing is a common problem in this circle. --- Instead of holding onto losing positions, it's better to change your mindset and start over.

I looked into this guy's four-year on-chain footprint of his holdings, a typical pattern of early FOMO entry and late-stage HODLing. I can precisely identify the moment he投入了10 ETH — that was during the疯狂期 at the end of 2022, when suspicious fund flows were quite abnormal. Is he still HODLing now? I bet this wallet has already fallen silent, and the fund migration trajectory has long pointed to a cold wallet on an exchange. Honestly, the on-chain signals from such holders couldn't be clearer — their mentality has崩了. Mentality确实是 a meat grinder, but you know what? The ones who truly made money had already跑路 when the abnormal transaction patterns from the original address appeared. It's not a心理建设 issue; no one ever taught you how to read on-chain footprints.

Stop-loss really saves lives, otherwise you have to watch the numbers evaporate painfully. --- This mindset issue, to put it plainly, is gambler's mentality—you have to double up to be satisfied. --- Holding on and not letting go is the real ultimate move. You should have cut losses long ago but stubbornly held on, serves you right. --- The dream of tenfold returns never dies, but a loss-averse mentality can't survive—that's the reality. --- Those who try to bottom fish all die before dawn; few can wait for that moment. --- In fact, the market is just a sieve, filtering out those who can stop-loss and those who can't—it's a matter of minutes.

Holding on is losing, once the mindset collapses, everything is over.

This mentality is truly incredible. Holding on desperately and still hoping for a rebound, then losing again after the rebound. --- Holding for four years and still reluctant to cut losses, honestly, it's just the gambler's mentality at play. --- To be honest, tenfold or hundredfold gains are not a dream. The problem is that most people can't withstand the intermediate process. --- Suffering a 90% loss and still holding on stubbornly—this isn't firm belief, it's self-deception haha. --- So, those who don't set stop-losses will eventually be educated by the market. --- A rebound to 1 ETH with a 90% loss—this math is simply incredible, but what's even more incredible is that some still believe this can turn around.

Really, holding on stubbornly is just betting on a change in mindset, but the market doesn't wait for your mindset to improve. --- 10 out of 11 losses and still waiting for a rebound? How strong must your mental resilience be? --- Honestly, leverage mentality is like poison; we are our own worst enemies. --- Psychological resilience during losses is indeed a weakness for most people; few can truly master it. --- Even after a rebound, still at a loss—there's no need for complicated math... it's just a matter of cutting losses.
