When selecting team members in the Web3 field, I value several core qualities. First is the ability to think from first principles—whether one can understand problems from their essence rather than simply following routines. Second is independent research capability, ideally producing original investment theses and market insights rather than just copying others. Lastly is practical application of AI tools, including building and optimizing automation systems. Ultimately, what truly matters in this era is the quality of ideas and the execution systems built around them. The ability to think of what others haven't and to turn those ideas into reality is what constitutes competitive advantage.

Well said, but the reality is that most people haven't even fully understood what the first principles are. Independent thinking sounds easy, but very few can truly do it. AI tools have definitely become more competitive; not learning them is not an option. The real challenge is turning ideas into action; anyone can just talk big.

That's right, I'm just afraid that a bunch of people are copying frameworks all day and can't come up with anything new. Only practical ideas are valuable; armchair strategizing is pointless. These days, knowing AI but not knowing how to use it is useless; you need a system that can truly optimize yourself. Original insights are hard; most people are stuck in repeat mode.
