The Head of Product at X just announced that they will ban reward apps for posting on X (InfoFi). The reason is that InfoFi generates too much spam, junk replies, and low-quality AI content.
X's action is not too surprising, there's just too much spam. Since the launch of InfoFi, the feed has been full of spam, with little quality content that involves investment and research. Kaito has shifted to Kaito Studio, I haven't fully understood what it is, but once the X API is shut down, the old model can no longer continue.
So, what do we have now, guys: - Just go back to testnet - Some mainnet retro projects, especially Perdex, are quite hot - The Discord role is forever thriving, though grinding is quite tough - Infofi might expand into other areas like TikTok, Facebook, Farcaster (If Far doesn't stop developing its social media segment, I truly think it has the potential to replace X in InfoFi)
