Spot trading is easier to understand from a different perspective.

Trading spot indeed brings a lot of exposure and capital inflow, no doubt about that. But the real issue is—many people actually prefer OTC trading rather than going for spot. Why? Because the competition in the spot market is indeed more intense, and the risk volatility is also sharper.

Do you say that buyers on the foreign exchange are all bagholders? That statement is a bit absolute. But it’s undeniable that losses in spot trading come faster and more directly. It’s like two different game rules—one more transparent but with concentrated risk, the other relatively dispersed but easier to fall into traps.

So, which to choose depends on the trader’s own risk tolerance and market judgment. There’s no absolute good or bad, only whether it’s suitable.
