Pessimism is the laziest game in town. Anyone can list reasons why something fails. Real leadership? It's the guts to stay optimistic anyway — staring at a system that's plainly broken, watching others stumble, and still pushing: we're making this happen. That kind of conviction? Rarer than you think. In crypto, especially, the gap between cynics and builders shows up everywhere. One group sees problems and quits before starting. The other sees the same problems and says: this is exactly why we need to move forward.

Optimists are indeed rare, but I think sometimes pessimism isn't entirely due to laziness either.

That's right, pessimism is just an excuse for laziness.

The optimistic talk has become tiresome, but it really works.

Being pessimistic is indeed easy, but I trust those who keep pushing forward relentlessly more.
