Digital asset management company Bitwise recently listed 7 crypto trading products priced in Swedish Krona on Nasdaq Stockholm. In simple terms, Swedish investors can now directly allocate to Bitcoin, Ether, and Solana through compliant channels.
The product lineup is quite extensive — including flagship products like Bitwise Core Bitcoin ETP, basic options for spot Bitcoin and Ether, as well as staking ETPs for ETH and Solana. Interestingly, they also launched an ETP tracking the MSCI Digital Assets Select 20 Index, and a hybrid product combining Bitcoin and gold. All these products are backed by institutionally cold-stored crypto assets, which are independently audited weekly, ensuring a high level of security.
After acquiring ETC Group in August 2024, Bitwise began expanding in Europe. In April 2025, they listed Bitcoin and Ether ETPs on the London Stock Exchange, and in September, they launched five crypto funds on the Swiss Exchange. The listing in Stockholm further solidifies their presence in the Nordic market. The company has also appointed Marco Poblete and Andre Havas to lead expansion plans in the Nordic region. From a geographic coverage perspective, Bitwise’s European ambitions are indeed accelerating.

Bitwise's move is quite aggressive, taking several places in Europe, and not sparing Northern Europe either.

With this speed of Bitwise, it would take a year for several European exchanges to catch up... Is the next step for Scandinavia to directly move into Russia?

Bitwise is expanding rapidly in Europe, and the pace is almost unbelievable... Northern Europe is starting to get competitive as well.
