I just saw a discussion about Lighter in the community. Someone said that the Lighter team transferred a large amount of LIT tokens, which caused a bit of panic—thinking there was some issue😅. Later, I saw founder Vladimir clarify on Twitter Space that it was just for safeguarding the allocation funds of investors and the team, and it has nothing to do with airdrops. That reassured me a lot.
What’s even more exciting is hearing that the universal margin system is coming soon. Will it be possible to use L1 assets as collateral in the future? It feels like trading will become more flexible! Plus, the mobile app is also almost ready to launch, and we’ll be able to use it within a few weeks—no need to keep operating on the web version🎉.
I want to ask all the veterans: as a complete newbie like me, how should I start playing with Lighter once the app is online? Should I jump right in or get familiar with the web version first for safety? Also, will the collateral mechanism of the universal margin system be particularly complicated for beginners?
