River's funding rate has recently continued to decline, reaching -0.695 on the four-hour chart. This extreme short accumulation situation is worth paying attention to. From historical price movements, when the funding rate drops to this level, it often indicates that market sentiment is overly pessimistic. Based on recent chip distribution and bullish momentum, if short positions continue to pile up and buying pressure gradually takes over, there is a possibility of breaking through near $28. Currently, from a trading perspective, going long on River offers a pretty good experience, and the sustained positive feedback also supports confidence in small-cap tokens. The key now is to observe the turning point of the funding rate and changes in large transaction signals.

With such extreme rates and a buildup of short positions, it actually starts to seem a bit interesting.

The fee rate dropping to -0.695, to be honest, is a bit like an integer overflow in a contract... So extreme that it actually becomes a signal. I'm just worried that the short accumulation is just a cover-up, and behind it are layers of false breakouts with nested traps. We need to see the true intentions of the large orders.

With such low fees, have the shorts really run out?

Is such a low fee rate really acting as a contrarian indicator? It seems prone to being hammered down.
