AI Oracles Are Truly the Unavoidable Hurdle for DeFi Protocols.

Recently, I chatted with a few people involved in DeFi projects, and they all mentioned the same concern—the biggest fear is not smart contract hacks, but AI oracle data being "polluted."

Thinking about the current ecosystem, automated liquidation, dynamic leverage configuration—these functions are all powered by AI models performing real-time calculations. If the AI's reasoning or judgment is flawed (or maliciously manipulated to lower the price of an asset), the protocol could be drained in an instant. It only takes a few seconds for the liquidation spiral to start.

This is also why everyone is increasingly paying attention to the trustworthiness of oracles and the security of AI decision-making—this truly is the last line of defense for the stable operation of DeFi.

Data contamination is truly a nightmare. Hacks can still be patched, but oracles that are manipulated to pump the price are a direct systemic risk.

I've been worried about data pollution for a long time. Once the liquidation spiral starts, no one can save it.

Data pollution is really more terrifying than being hacked. --- Once the liquidation spiral starts, it's over—bloodshed in seconds. This is the real killer of DeFi. --- So, oracles are the biggest single point of failure. No matter how advanced the technology is, it's useless. --- The problem isn't in the code but in the data sources. This logic is sound. --- I like this perspective. The risk ranking of DeFi needs to be re-evaluated. --- In terms of AI decision-making security and protection, no one in the country is taking it seriously. --- How many projects actually take oracle protection seriously now? --- It sounds ridiculous—liquidating a protocol in seconds? --- That's why I avoid high-leverage DeFi. I don't trust those models. --- Malicious price manipulation and chain reactions—it's way too easy.

That's so true. Once the AI oracle goes haywire, we all-in players instantly become the main characters in a liquidation feast. Data pollution is even more terrifying than hacking because you can't see it at all, and you're just cut off. A few days ago, I saw news about a protocol being drained. It took only a few seconds, and my leverage turned into a precision-guided missile. The key is, with AI, if it makes a wrong judgment, we still have to trust it. It's like gambling on whether it’s in a good mood. So ultimately, the real issue now is—who will supervise these AI oracles? Don’t let us find out later that what we trusted was secretly being manipulated.

Data pollution is truly much more dangerous than contract vulnerabilities; a single price feed error can completely destroy a protocol. The liquidation spiral kills anyone who gets caught, and the major incidents from the year before are still vivid in memory. So now, reliable oracles are really valuable.

Data pollution is truly more terrifying than being hacked; it can trigger liquidation spirals in seconds. --- So, in fact, current DeFi looks glamorous mainly because of oracles supporting it. --- This is the real black swan event—no issues with the code, but the data deceives you. --- Once the liquidation spiral starts, it's over; there's no time to react. --- I'm increasingly understanding why large LPs are cautious—trust in oracles is even harder than trusting the code. --- This should have been taken seriously earlier; only now do I realize how late I am. --- A single data error can instantly kill a protocol; no one should ignore this risk. --- No wonder project teams are so tense about oracle issues. --- It seems that security measures can never keep up with the pace of risk innovation.
