The CLARITY Act has recently been a hot topic of discussion, but many people are still confused about its regulatory framework—Which Senate committee is leading the effort? Why does the CFTC have to be under the Agriculture Committee? What is the logic behind this regulatory division of labor? How will legislation proceed moving forward? These questions are indeed worth clarifying. Starting with the regulatory division of labor in the Senate, which major committees oversee what, and who is the main player in this round of cryptocurrency policy? Once the framework is clear, everything else becomes much easier to understand.

Haha, it's the same bureaucratic trick again. The Agriculture Committee controlling the CFTC is just incredible... I really can't understand why it has to be so complicated.

The Agricultural Committee overseeing the CFTC... is really unbelievable, it made me laugh out loud. I thought I was the only one who found it outrageous.

The Agriculture Committee's oversight of the CFTC is really incredible; it feels like the U.S. Congress folks are still living in the last century.

Does the Agriculture Committee oversee the CFTC? I really can't understand this logic. Are derivatives trading also considered agricultural products?
