Deep Tide TechFlow News, January 14th, according to Cryptopolitan, the Cardano hard fork working group proposed to name the 2026 upgrade to protocol version 11 as "van Rossem" in honor of DRep Max van Rossem, who has made significant contributions to blockchain governance. The upgrade will improve node security, ledger consistency, and Plutus performance without transitioning to a new ledger era. Community voting began on January 13th and will continue until February 14th. To participate in the vote, a minimum of 100,000 ADA must be staked.
