$IP has been wildly fluctuating around 4.0 USDT recently. It seems lively, but in reality, it's a life-and-death game between Korean retail investors' sentiment and institutional funds. On the surface, it's a thriving turnover, but fundamentally, there's a major transfer of chips. The bullish activity space has been squeezed tightly.

**The anomalies on the trading side are here**

IP's trading volume in Korea once accounted for over 50%. This kind of purely short-term sentiment-driven surge is inherently fragile. Once Korean retail enthusiasm wanes and liquidity dries up, the price can drop at any moment.

Although the 24-hour trading volume is extremely high, the price around 4.10 USDT just won't move up. What does this indicate? There are many buy orders, but they are all eaten up by even larger sell pressures. This isn't a shakeout; it's a dump.

**The fundamentals also lack solid support**

Token unlocks in mid-January are an obvious bearish factor. VC-held chips need to find opportunities to sell, and the most liquid period (now) is the best window.

No real TVL growth or application deployment has been seen in the ecosystem. At this 4.0 USDT price level, aside from retail traders speculating on volatility, long-term funds are simply not willing to take the risk.

**Operational suggestions**

Short entry: The 4.05-4.15 USDT range is a good defensive entry point, with a favorable risk-reward ratio.

Add to position signal: If the price effectively breaks below 3.92 USDT (today's strength/weakness boundary), it indicates the bullish protection has failed, and the bearish pattern may accelerate. Then, add to the short position accordingly.

Stop-loss line: Set at 4.32 USDT. If the price breaks through here and stabilizes, it suggests the market still has extreme irrationality at play, so it's better to exit quickly.

Take-profit target: Short-term target is 3.60 USDT; medium-term, wait for the reasonable value zone after the unlock at 2.80-3.00 USDT.

**Final note**

Don't mistake high turnover rate for trend initiation. Stagnant price increases combined with high turnover are typical signals of the main players losing control. When there's a rebound, consider exiting the position.
